Privacy Policy

PocketPacer (“we”, “us”) is a running calculator and race-planning app. We designed it to collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains exactly what is stored, where, and why.
1. Local device storage
Your goals, plans, custom distances, units, theme and other preferences are stored only in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, this information is permanently deleted.
2. Analytics and tracking
PocketPacer does not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling. We do not use cookies for tracking. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived request logs (IP address, timestamp, URL) for operational security; these are not used to identify individual users.
3. Accounts and purchase restore
If you purchase PocketPacer Pro, we store the following so we can restore your Pro access on other devices:
- The email address you used at checkout
- Your Stripe customer and payment identifiers
- The purchase amount, currency and timestamp
When you request a Pro restore by email, we send a one-time verification link to that address. We do not send marketing email.
4. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe. PocketPacer never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.
5. Transactional email
Verification and receipt emails are sent from notify.pocketpacer.app. We log delivery status to detect bounces and prevent spam, and you may unsubscribe from any non-essential message via the link in the email.
6. Data retention
Purchase records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your purchase record at any time by emailing us; this will also revoke Pro access on all devices.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion. Email support@pocketpacer.app and we will respond within 30 days.
